Job Description:

The Plant Head will be responsible for the overall strategic and operational leadership of the API manufacturing facility in Hyderabad. This senior leadership role ensures the plant operates efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with global regulatory standards (USFDA, EMA, WHO-GMP, etc.), meeting production targets, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining a culture of quality and safety.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee day-to-day plant operations across all departments including production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain
  • Lead and manage the complete corrugation process — from raw material sourcing to final product delivery
  • Drive efficiency improvements in production lines, especially high-speed corrugation machinery
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards
  • Collaborate closely with the Director on strategic decisions and business expansion plans
  • Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
  • Implement lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lead cross-functional teams and build a performance-oriented culture
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely procurement and inventory control
  • Coordinate with the sales and planning teams to align production schedules with customer demands

Requirements:

  • Engineering, Production, Industrial engineering or equivalent degree preferred
  • MBA is a plus
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in corrugation/packaging manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Strong expertise in operating and managing high-speed corrugation plants
  • Proven ability to manage large teams and complex operations
  • Fluent in Telugu
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
