Job Description:

As a Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, diagnostics and repair of a wide range of plant and pumping equipment, ensuring maximum reliability and minimal downtime.

Job Responsibility:

Servicing, maintaining and repairing concrete pumps, mixers, batching plant, quarry and asphalt-related equipment
Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical faults
Carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown repairs
Ensuring all machinery complies with company standards and health & safety regulations
Completing job reports and maintenance records accurately
Supporting equipment preparation and testing before site deployment
Occasional travel to sites across London and surrounding areas as required

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer
Strong knowledge of concrete, asphalt or quarry plant equipment
Mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding skills
Relevant engineering qualifications or time-served apprenticeship
A proactive, safety-focused approach
Full UK driving licence

Nice to have:

Experience with concrete pumps or heavy mobile plant
Electrical diagnostic experience
Welding and fabrication skills
