Job Description:

We are looking for a ''Plant Financial Controller'' for our global business partner operates in energy sector and located in İzmir.

Job Responsibility:

  • PLM-Controlling monitors and analyzes costs during the construction phase of the project, monitors commitments to the project and ensures compliance
  • It identifies risks, analyzes gaps and proposes remedial solutions to the project team
  • The measurement and monitoring of differences between the current costs of projects in progress and initial estimates
  • Monitoring their progress
  • Regular information exchange with the project manager and your improvement proposals
  • Analysis, management and reporting of project costs during all phases
  • The regular establishment of the remaining expenses to be incurred to finish the project, as well as the necessary provisions and charges
  • The calculation of performance indicators
  • The preparation of specific analyzes
  • The establishment of methods and procedures necessary for the control of Costs - Updating and Developing These Methods - Participation in Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Financial Statements
  • Benchmarking of P&L, Balance Sheet, Working Capital versus budget and review. the results with the management
  • Participate in the development of and support the company’s strategic plans
  • Monitor the financial performance of the company
  • Compile and analyse financial reporting packages
  • Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the company’s procedures

Requirements:

  • Strong academic background, including a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or other related field
  • Preferably factory and production area experience
  • Minimum 5 years of related work experience
  • Familiarity with principles of Costing and Analysis
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and teaming skills
  • Strong work initiative and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • English language skills - excellent written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated integrity, values, principles, and work ethic
  • Military service obligation completed for male candidates
  • No travel restrictions

  • Monitoring of Net Working Capital (NWC) and cash flow performance
  • Regular reporting of key KPIs to both the central controlling unit and internal stakeholders at the plant level
  • Calculation of the financial benefits of ratio projects within your scope of responsibility and tracking their implementation in actual results.
