Job Description

The Controller will be based in Guadalupe, Zacatecas plant and will manage all aspects of the financial and accounting functions for the plant. Job Responsibility

  • Actively takes responsibility for the correctness, reliability and comparability of all operative and key performance drivers
  • Actively involvement in the weekly reporting process, assuring accuracy and action plans
  • Managing annual budget, monthly forecasts and all the accounting/reporting processes
  • Ensures plant goals and initiatives are developed in line with the Company strategic targets and business plans
  • Reviews control procedures over accounting and financial activities as well as provides guidance to ensure internal controls are maintained and that general ledger accounts are correctly used maintaining SOX & GAAP compliance
  • Prepares financial reporting, analyzing and reporting manufacturing variances and determine action plans to mitigate along with the Plant Staff
  • Implement new controlling tools and seek continuous improvement and use of best practices
  • Actively manages career development of direct reports, reviews performance, provides coaching in order to increase performance

Requirements

  • Budget, forecast and P&L management
  • Advanced English level
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Experience working in the manufacturing industry preferably in the automotive with harnesses
  • Bachelor´s degree
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and PPT
  • Knowledge of SOX
