5+ years of relevant experience
Strong manufacturing and cost accounting background

Job Responsibility

Serve as a key business partner to Plant Management, contributing to strategy development and execution of annual plans
Direct and manage all financial and accounting functions for the plant, including annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and management reporting
Lead the development of operating plans, forecasts, and financial analysis
Ensure timely and accurate financial closings and reporting in compliance with GAAP
Drive internal controls, maintain SOX compliance, and safeguard company assets
Provide financial leadership on supply chain management, communicating risks and opportunities effectively
Oversee preparation and analysis of plant financial reports, including manufacturing efficiency variances
Lead cost savings initiatives and productivity improvement programs
Deliver strategic business analysis for short- and long-term value creation
Mentor and guide plant staff on financial processes and best practices

Job Responsibility

Manage hire requests (on and off hire) and create hire contracts in the plant management system
Effectively communicate with internal and external customers regarding availability
Upload damage charges to the plant management system
Upload asset defects, maintenance, and service records into the plant management system
Generate purchase orders for the plant department and assist with the goods receiving process
Provide administrative support to the Depot Hire Desk
Contribute to the efficiency of the department by identifying and implementing improved administrative processes and procedures
Identifying equipment that needs new lifting certification and ensuring our partner companies attend and record new lifting certification on equipment on an on-going basis
Responsible for managing job allocation for mobile staff based from the Bridgwater depot
Ensuring correct processes are followed to the companies high standard for repairs

High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of three (3) years of accounting experience required
Experience using Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Outlook, Word, and Excel) required

Job Responsibility

Prepare accounting journals as required for monthly financial close
Assist the Plant Controller to help ensure accurate recording of all plant accounting transactions and effectiveness of internal financial controls
Coordinate with the Plant Controller and Plant Operations with preparation of annual budgeting, financial forecasts, monthly operations stewardship, capital budget tracking and reporting, analysis of variances to plan
Complete monthly and quarterly compliance checklist and advise the Plant Controller of any non-compliance issues with recommended controls update
Prepare and maintain monthly Plant KPI’s (i.e. calculation of daily/weekly yields and inventory statistics)
Field local management requests for operating expense or capital expenditures
Facilitate state and governmental audits and gather data as needed
Complete or assist with state and federal governmental reporting obligations
Ensure FSMA compliance pertaining to co-product shipments, corn receipts and chemical receipts
Complete denaturant received and invoiced report for usage and quantity verification
