Act as a strategic financial leader, collaborating with site management and corporate teams to enhance profitability, operational performance, and cost efficiency. Oversee all plant-level financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, inventory management, and financial reporting, while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and internal controls.
Job Responsibility:
Provide financial leadership by advising site management on strategic decisions, production planning, and capital investments
Lead the preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and monthly variance analyses to identify opportunities for performance improvement
Manage cost accounting processes, including the development of standard costs and monitoring key manufacturing cost drivers
Oversee inventory valuation, cycle counts, and physical inventory processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Collaborate with purchasing teams to validate product costs and support pricing or margin analysis
Prepare and present financial statements, dashboards, and reports for site and corporate leadership
Maintain robust internal controls that comply with corporate policies and audit standards
Track and report capital expenditures while supporting post-project evaluations
Develop strategies to optimize working capital and enhance cost performance
Support sustainability and safety initiatives through financial analysis and tracking of related investments
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing cost accounting or a related field
Proficiency in cost accounting, including standard cost development and month-end close processes
Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
Familiarity with Oracle or similar financial systems
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
Strong leadership and team management capabilities
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate across departments
