Plant Controller

• Ensure the protection of company assets and oversee the accurate recording of financial transactions through robust internal controls and audits
• Direct and optimize daily accounting and operational tasks, including accounts payable, payroll, inventory management, fixed assets, and cost accounting
• Prepare and deliver timely and accurate monthly financial reports to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
• Develop and implement financial plans that support long-term business objectives and drive profitability
• Conduct financial analysis for special projects, capital expenditures, and product costing to support informed decision-making
• Manage banking relationships to secure favorable credit terms and financial resources
• Collaborate with leadership to evaluate and enhance fringe benefit programs for employees
• Act as the primary liaison with external auditors, banks, insurance agents, and other financial partners
• Provide leadership and vision for financial operations, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration across departments
• Oversee additional operational areas, including safety, security, IT services, and facility maintenance

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required
• At least ten years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and training
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including month-end close processes, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
• Effective communication and presentation skills, capable of addressing sensitive issues with senior management and stakeholders
• Proficiency in calculating figures related to payroll, budgets, and statistical analysis
• Demonstrated ability to lead and implement financial strategies across multiple departments

Familiarity with manufacturing industry standards and practices is preferred
