Job Description

As the Plant Controller, Manager USA (IL – Downers Grove), you will own and direct all financial functions for the manufacturing site. You will serve as a critical business partner to the Plant Manager, Plant Leadership Team, and the broader Supply Chain Finance organization. Your work will directly influence operating performance, cost optimization, internal controls, and long-term value creation for the site and the company.

Job Responsibility

  • Act as a key financial and strategic business partner to the Plant Management Team
  • contribute to plant strategy development and execution of the annual operating plan
  • Direct and manage all financial and accounting functions for the plant
  • Lead the development of operating plans, forecasts, and financial analysis
  • Review and advise leadership on financial and budgetary requirements
  • Lead plant and corporate Enabler (cost savings) initiatives
  • Provide financial leadership for all aspects of plant supply chain management
  • Direct timely and accurate financial closings
  • Oversee preparation of plant financial reports
  • Ensure all financial reporting is accurate and prepared in accordance with GAAP
  • Maintain strong internal accounting controls and ensure SOX compliance
  • Drive strategic business analysis
  • Serve as a proactive financial leader, providing guidance and mentoring to plant staff

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong ability to partner effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Proven data analytics capabilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
