Job Description:

An opportunity for a Plant Competence Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, SAN PABLO (Sevilla).

Job Responsibility:

  • Accountable to ensure the collective competence development of the plant employees according to the business strategy and resource management inputs, by identifying competence needs, analysing competence gaps and defining/securing plant competence development plan with all main contributors (Academies, HUL and local HR)
  • Provide HUL with those C&L priorities to build the plant/FAL yearly training plan, in cooperation with the Plant / FAL HRBP(s)
  • Support HRBPs in allocating/prioritising the learning deployment at plant/FAL level according to business priorities
  • Support Managers and HRBPs in training needs management
  • Define the collective competence action plan, selecting the most appropriate competence development solutions with the relevant Academy's support and monitor its implementation
  • Drumbeat the Training Plan deployment, liaising with the Learning Deployment Partner and using the local Academy support
  • Provide monthly reports to Management (deployment analysis)
  • Provide Academies with business needs for competence creation or modification & for the creation of specifications for learning solutions
  • Adapt Academy learning paths to local requirements where necessary with the support of local actors (i.e. Quality...)
  • Contribute to and support business /corporate improvement projects
  • Manage practical training rooms (where applicable)
  • Analyse the pool of trainers to avoid lack of trainers (for internal trainers only)

Requirements:

  • Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline
  • Experience in similar roles
  • High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a networking mode
  • Advanced level in English
