The Role My client is a prestigious utility company currently looking for an administrator to support plant activities. You will need to provide plant items on demand, providing best quality/value for money.
Job Responsibility:
Place Plant orders accurately, on a timely basis, and in accordance with company policy
Check that correct rental costs are being charged on the invoices
Ensure order specification is correctly understood before raising orders
Review Plant order requests to ensure consistency with previous similar orders, and in accordance with company policy
Liaise with yard staff to ensure a free flow of information about expected on & off-hires of plant items and status of owned equipment in the yard
Assist Transport Manager in the production of relevant statistics
Work with other Team members to cover the BAU aspects of the Transport department
Requirements:
Knowledge of plant items supplied by major providers – e.g., GAP, Sunbelt Rentals, Speedy Hire
Knowledge of civils plant items commonly used in the installation of fibre optic networks
Experience of using Purchase Order and equipment databases
