2+ years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing or operational environment preferred
Hands-on experience with month-end close and account reconciliations
Experience working with ERP systems (QAD, MFG/PRO, or similar) and strong Excel skills

Job Responsibility

Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities in accordance with established timelines
Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts
investigate and resolve variances
Perform account reconciliations, including bank accounts, intercompany balances, and key operational accounts
Support intercompany transactions and ensure timely and accurate settlements
Assist with payroll-related postings and reconciliations
Partner with operations to track labor, project costs, and key performance metrics
Review open items and resolve discrepancies within accounts payable and other subledgers
Support internal and external audit requests and maintain strong documentation
Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
