Job Description

Developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules to ensure timely completion of projects. The role involves coordinating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to maintain project timelines, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop detailed project schedules using planning tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
  • Establish baseline schedules including engineering, procurement, and construction activities
  • Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly to track performance against the baseline
  • Perform Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis to identify key activities affecting project completion
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure proper sequencing and timely completion of tasks
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and management presentations
  • Conduct delay analysis and recovery planning to mitigate schedule slippages
  • Conduct quantity estimation & costing for vendor finalization
  • Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and construction teams to align project schedules
  • Identify project risks and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Provide planning support for change management, claims, and variation orders
  • Lead and mentor planning engineers within the project team
