Working within the Technical, Commercial and Innovation Service (TCIS), we have a vacancy for a permanent Planning Technician within our Planning Response and Planning Appeals Teams. You will be a part of a wider team delivering specialised planning technical support functions.
Job Responsibility:
Processing of new planning applications and comments from the public on applications
Administering initial planning advice requests
Administering planning appeals
Providing general planning advice
Document management
Providing advice on information governance statutory processes
Triaging shared mailboxes
Requirements:
Excellent organisation skills
Great attention to detail
Ability to be proactive in working to deliver deadlines
Confident communicator
Ability to work effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
Understanding of the planning system (not essential)
