Join our Intercruises Regional Operational HUB team for Spain, Portugal and Cape Verde, as Team Leader. You will play a key role in ensuring and lead the team for the full scope of Planning and Valuation for Shorex and Turnarounds — from start to finish. You will be responsible for ensuring the entire portfolio is accurately loaded into our systems, managing planning processes efficient, driving cost efficiencies while ensuring compliance with high service standards. Additionally, you will make sure all booking information from our customers is correctly integrated and managed within our systems, as well as handle the financial reconciliation and administrative follow-up related to these operations. You will be responsible for communicating booking updates with our key transfer suppliers and destination teams to ensure a smooth Service Delivery operation. Job Responsibility:
Lead and support the planning team while ensuring company procedures and operational guidelines are followed
Manage the set up and loading portfolio of the cruise lines in our system (Asterix)
Responsible for the set up and loading portfolio of our suppliers in our system (Asterix)
Organize team schedules, working hours and holiday planning
Analyzing setup, outcome of margins , inputs for improvements, optimizing costs and sales plannings according to budgets
Close collaboration with other departments – Port Delivery, Business Development, Finance and Global Operations
Ensure compliance with global operational standards and processes
Plan and valuate services when and where required
Distribute operational information across the team and related departments
Monitor and manage changes, modifications and/or cancellations to be updated in the planning system for running a smooth operation
Checking special requests bookings and registering the requirements on the system
Support cost optimization and sales plannings according to budgets
Report incidences in the planning system and ensure good coordination with other departments
Requirements:
Previous user knowledge of Booking & Planning systems would be highly desirable
If you already worked in a leadership position or in the cruise industry is considered an advantage
Fluent in verbal and written English and Spanish are required, additional languages are a plus
Positive attitude with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
Strong communication and team working skills in an international environment
Excellent organizational and administrative skills with confidence using technology and operational systems
Ability to solve problems independently and/or make suggestions how to improve ways of working & embrace our digital culture
Can think things through logically to simplify tasks, working at times virtually and independently
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond quickly to operational changes and challenges
Nice to have:
