We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Planning & Services Manager to the Workington Mill to join our skilled team. Joining us on a full-time, permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary and become part of our welcoming team. Holmen Board and Paper is a Swedish company and a member of the Holmen Group. The Workington Mill produces premium paperboard under the brand Incada. Our paperboard is an integral part of the shopping experience for our clients’ customers. Since 2013 we have powered the mill almost entirely by fossil fuel free energy. We value our employees and products highly. Today we are approximately 340 co-workers. Our integrated pulp and paperboard mill is located to the west of the beautiful Lake District in the north of England.
Job Responsibility:
Initiating, leading and co-ordinating work within the Planning and Service Team and where necessary across the Mill and Sales organisation
Delivering Customer requirements On Time and In Full
Planning and Service team development and competence
Maximising Mill Quality efficiency through effective planning
Providing prompt and accurate response to enquiries from Sales Team
Stock level maintenance
Managing volumes and throughput in despatch to ensure a smooth operation
Monthly operation reviews of transport providers
Monitoring or pallet supplier efficiency
Service development project portfolio
Requirements:
Excellent problem-solving skills
Flexible and service minded attitude
Strong influencing and communication skills at all levels of the organisation
Educated to Degree level (BSc/BA), highly numerate and strong computer skills
Experience in managing personnel
Appropriate training in both the working environment and Health and Safety
Basic knowledge of the Pulp and Paper process and Mill capabilities
Knowledge of Sales & Marketing, Logistics and Purchasing organisations
Knowledge of Customer Service requirements
Knowledge of the Company’s IT system – in particular Oscar, MiMi, Tips Plan and Hipos
