Job Description

An opportunity for a Planning in Production Area has arisen within Airbus Operations, Puerto de Santa Maria (Cadiz). Planning and management in a Production area, with the main objective of ensuring compliance with the defined manufacturing plans.

Job Responsibility

  • Plan the production on a short or medium term horizon, take into account all the production events, and smooth the production plan accordingly
  • Continuosly analyse the information and solve the potential problems (MRP exception messages, shortages, ...), improve the production parameters, to lead the completion of the work orders at the required date and quantity
  • Coordinates the various actors involved in the production activity (from suppliers to customers)
  • Builds a feasible planning agreed by all stakeholders and ensures the follow-up (schedule adherence)
  • Give recommendations to the production management in order to build a short/mid term planning based on MRP results
  • Follow production plan execution (MRP monitoring, MRP calculation results analysis, planned orders conversion, work orders release and closure)
  • Management of the releases of orders to Production, according to load balancing in the different SGMs of a management area
  • Monitoring and Control of inventories of the area, in coordination with the affected departments such as Engineering, Logistics, Production, for the fulfillment of the annual objectives
  • Ensure that the defined production plans are taken to our SAP corporate system
  • Build, update and analyse KPIs measuring production and planning execution, and define the improvement plan and associated actions
  • Participation in lean projects aimed to continuous improvement and leadership when the solution must be monitored by planning

Requirements

  • Engineering Degree or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience Planning is needed
  • Experience Information Systems and Project management would be a plus
  • Knowledge in SAP, SNT, Excel, Project, Access, CIC, CAPP, FBP, Power Point would be a plus
  • Leaderships skills
  • Production environment
  • Negotiation level of English and Spanish is required
