This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to one of the water industry's most critical challenges while developing your expertise across data, network operations, and strategic resolution planning. IGL is part of the South Staffordshire Group – a 3,000-strong organisation behind South Staffs Water, Cambridge Water, and several leading utility support businesses – offering long-term development and career progression. We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Planning Scheduler to join our Planning Team in Kettering. This is a key support role, ensuring that all administrative processes related to regulated utility work are completed accurately and on time. You will play an important part in coordinating with utility companies, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure utility installations run smoothly from initial call-off through to completion.

Job Responsibility:

  • Carry out general administrative duties efficiently and accurately
  • Maintain precise paper and electronic records in line with company and departmental procedures
  • Liaise with utility companies regarding queries, issues, and progress updates
  • Manage customer and client queries, escalating where appropriate to ensure positive outcomes
  • Support Planning Team Leaders to ensure utilities are installed in line with company processes
  • Work to KPIs to help the department achieve its objectives
  • Communicate professionally with customers and stakeholders via telephone and email
  • Take responsibility for your own health, safety, and wellbeing
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties within the scope of the role
