The opportunity: This is a key leadership role with genuine breadth. As Planning & Purchasing Manager, you will own the end-to-end planning function across all markets, covering demand and supply planning, supplier management, and contracting. You will lead the ANZ Demand and Supply Reviews within the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycle, drive forecast accuracy, and maintain the inventory discipline required to support commercial considerations, including working capital and margin commitments. With four direct reports and deep cross-functional reach, this role sits at the centre of the business.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead, coach and develop the Demand and Supply planning teams
  • own the monthly IBP Demand and Supply Reviews
  • develop accurate, unconstrained demand forecasts across all entities, brands, channels and markets
  • manage replenishment strategies for finished goods across ANZ
  • own inventory policy and planning parameters
  • build and manage senior supplier relationships
  • drive optimisation of planning systems

Requirements:

  • Considerable experience in demand and supply planning ideally in FMCG or manufacturing
  • demonstrated leadership of multi-disciplinary planning teams
  • strong working knowledge of forecasting and supply planning processes
  • hands-on IBP or S&OP experience
  • solid proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and advanced analytical tools
