As Planning Manager, you'll lead the planning function across a varied portfolio of projects, ensuring planning applications are delivered successfully while providing technical guidance and leadership to your team. Working closely with internal specialists, external consultants and Local Authorities, you'll help drive projects from concept through to approval while supporting the continued growth of the business.

Team Leadership: Lead, coach and develop a team of planning professionals
Planning Strategy: Manage planning projects across minerals, waste, environmental and land development sectors
Technical Oversight: Prepare, review and oversee planning applications, planning statements and supporting documentation
Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with Local Authorities, clients, consultants and key stakeholders
Project Coordination: Coordinate multidisciplinary technical input, including ecology, highways, environmental and EIA specialists
Continuous Improvement: Help strengthen and develop the company's in-house planning capability while driving improvements across the planning function
Requirements
RTPI or RICS qualification (or working towards chartered status)
Demonstrable experience managing planning applications from inception through to determination
