Job Description

Support Planning Engineer/Planning Senior Engineer to all the activities pertaining to the reporting within a Project (or part thereof) of any size and complexity, under the supervision of the Planning Senior Engineer, in full compliance with the received indications and the Contract, the Company's quality requirements and Project Execution Plan, WBS and Schedules.

Job Responsibility

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for EPC project
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading processes
  • Develop & implement web-based dashboard tool to extract data from construction sites & aggregate summary report for management
  • Co-ordination to compile engineering, procurement and construction data
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data presented in the dashboards
  • Train end-users on how to use the dashboards and reports effectively
  • Link power Bi tool to Primavera P6 schedules to get planned progress data
  • Compilation and aggregation of actual progress from C3 progress measurement system (PMS)
  • Compare planned data with actual progress representing progress S curves, manpower histograms and commodity curves in power Bi live dashboard
  • Scheduling, monitoring & reporting of EPC projects to produce daily, weekly & monthly reports of progress, quantities, manpower, manhours

Requirements

  • University Degree or Diploma in relevant field
  • Minimum of 4/5 years of experience preferably within the construction or Oil and Gas industry
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail, management skills
  • Good knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling software to link with Power Bi
  • Team-oriented skills, self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution
  • Expertise in developing & implementing Power Bi dashboards
