Job Description:

The jobholder is a member of AIRBUS Flight Hour Services (FHS) organization and is a member of the FTM mutualized team. He/She acts as a Central Maintenance Planner. He/She reports to the Ho FTM Central Planning team. The position is based in Bangalore India where FTM Central team is located. The position involves shift work arrangement.

Job Responsibility:

  • Remotely oversees customer’s A/C fleet maintenance planning on several bases
  • Closely coordinates with TSP Local team to deliver performance of line/base routine maintenance activities on the aircraft
  • Ensures that the maintenance activities are in compliance with customer’s approved maintenance program
  • Processes customer work requirements
  • Generates short term or long term maintenance forecasts
  • Maximizes effective maintenance task interval accomplishment, while ensuring compliance with customer and airworthiness requirements
  • Monitors main safeguards the airworthiness and safety of the customer's fleet through strictly controlled well-scheduled maintenance events
  • Develops effective and efficient maintenance packages with appropriate control and progress planning
  • Guarantees that the Maintenance Information System meets a quality standard necessary to ensure Airworthiness of the fleet
  • Actively reports safety related issues and any other FTM related issues
  • Guaranteeing an excellent level of service with the local teams in charge of the interface with the customer

Requirements:

  • Minimum degree holder in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the domain of MRO Operations and Fleet Technical Management / Maintenance planning
  • Knowledge towards regulations constraints, continued airworthiness management & maintenance information system principle is required
  • Should be highly organized and structured, capacity to work in unstable environment with good spoken and written English
  • Experience in airline operations / production planning / aircraft maintenance programs will be preferred
  • Exposure towards any of these maintenance information systems (AMASIS, RAMCO, AMOS) is desirable

  • Exposure towards any of these maintenance information systems (AMASIS, RAMCO, AMOS) is desirable
  • Experience in airline operations / production planning / aircraft maintenance programs will be preferred
