Job Responsibility:
Monitor and evaluate product, software, and hardware changes within control units and wiring harnesses for their impact on CAN tools used in vehicle assembly (e.g., door preassembly, seat mounting)
Develop and enhance IS-Tester and IS-Tester Next Generation systems
Manage and implement changes in 12V power supply systems
Develop CAN tool configurations to support EE component movement in assembly lines
Design and develop Software Update Terminals for CIVIC & IDC programs
Plan and support new electrical/electronics testing, commissioning, and end-of-line assembly processes
Collaborate closely with Development (R&D), Production, and Aftersales teams to ensure smooth operations and integration
Perform root cause analysis for validation defects and coordinate resolutions with stakeholders
Support production teams in resolving EE-related issues on-site
Drive continuous improvement and adopt emerging technologies as required
Travel to Germany based on project or business requirements
Experience: 3–10 years of relevant experience in the automotive domain
Protocols: Strong knowledge of CAN and UDS protocols
exposure to Ethernet and FlexRay preferred
Diagnostics: Experience with OBD and vehicle diagnostics tools and processes
Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, analytical and logical thinking, adaptability, and proactive learning mindset
English language fluency (German proficiency is a plus)
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics & Instrumentation (EI), or related fields
Nice to have:
Hands-on experience with vehicle EE architecture and assembly processes (e.g., motorized systems such as doors, seats, sunroof, trunk lid, convertible hood)
Experience in vehicle testing and production issue resolution
Exposure to global automotive programs and cross-functional collaboration with international teams (Germany)
