Job Description

The town of Fairhaven is seeking a qualified professional to lead its Planning and Economic Development functions. This position supports the Planning Board, administers zoning and subdivision regulations, coordinates development review, and advances economic and community initiatives. Responsibilities include permitting and regulatory interpretation, board support, grant writing and administration, project coordination, and engagement with residents, businesses, and regional partners. Candidates should have a degree in planning, public administration, or a related field, along with relevant municipal experience. Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills are essential. Salary range: $84,620.22 – $103,128.27, depending on qualifications.
