Play a key role in driving forward the necessary improvements in planning and performance to enable Ravensbourne to deliver its ambitious mission. Working closely with the Director of Strategic Planning, ensure that Ravensbourne’s strategic ambitions are translated into robust plans and measurable targets through leading an integrated planning process which incorporates academic, operational, people and infrastructure planning.

Responsibility for student number planning
Be a key partner for academic schools and departments on strategic alignment, prioritisation, objective setting, performance monitoring and horizon scanning
Provide evidence-based insights to shape strategic decision-making and performance monitoring frameworks
Implement the University's institutional performance framework, providing insightful commentary and recommendations to the Executive and the Board
Benchmark performance against the wider sector to identify critical risks and emerging opportunities for growth
Requirements:
Experience in strategic planning or data analysis in a Higher Education setting
Ability to produce insightful analysis and engage with and influence senior leadership
Good understanding of effective planning and prioritisation within a University
Strong understanding of the sector context and appropriate data sources across multiple areas of University life, including the whole student lifecycle
Expertise to implement performance frameworks, such as KPIs or balanced scorecards
Confident communicator able to translate complex information into compelling narratives for senior stakeholders
Comfortable in a highly collaborative environment, building effective relationships across academic and professional services departments
