Then this project at Randstad Professional Sales & Marketing in the retail and supply chain sector is for you! Your Challenge: You are the analytical backbone for demand forecasting and operational planning. Together with commercial teams and external logistics partners, you ensure that the weekly flow of approximately 26,000 orders is not only accurately predicted but that the operation receives the right strategic support.

Job Responsibility

You serve as the essential point of contact for data-driven decision-making. Your focus lies on: Demand Forecasting: You manage the entire demand forecasting process at the SKU level, including identifying deviations and adjusting for seasonal influences. Operational Excellence: You translate forecasts into concrete capacity planning and monitor KPIs (such as MAPE and bias) to optimize warehouse performance. Data & Analytics Mastery: You manage large datasets and build reports in Excel (Power Query) and Power BI to communicate complex information clearly. Quality & Deadline Management: You monitor the quality of every analysis and ensure that weekly forecasts and KPI reports are submitted strictly within deadlines.

Requirements

  • A strong background in Demand Forecasting or Supply Planning, preferably within FMCG or E-commerce
  • You are technically very strong
  • Excel (Power Query) holds no secrets for you, and knowledge of Python is a major plus
  • A structured all-rounder who requires little guidance and delivers independent results immediately
  • Fluent in English (mandatory for reporting). Knowledge of Dutch or French is a significant advantage.
