Job Responsibility:

Assist customers in the self-planning process or provide accurate designs and detailed layout solutions
Provide visitors with a positive shopping experience by ensuring customer convenience standards in the sales area are met or exceeded
Ensure merchandise is presented according to IKEA standards and is properly labeled and signed
Adhere to inventory control procedures
Train and coach apprentices on product features, services, customer selling skills and technical requirements
Contribute to an environment where the IKEA Culture embraces diversity of coworkers and customers
Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as they occur

Requirements:

Amazing attention for details and ability to juggle multiple priorities while keeping a smile
Top-notch customer service skills with ability to assess customer needs quickly and sell them a solution
People-person who can strike up conversations easily
Passion for IKEA products and design, as well as their Sustainability commitment
Approximately 6-month work experience in a high-volume sales or customer service environment
Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs with buddy support if needed
