Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance, or related technical discipline with industry experience
10+ years with Engineering and Construction Capital projects, with pipeline industry experience preferred
Expert level knowledge of Primavera P6
Possess an aptitude for successfully building relationships with project staff, internal and external stakeholders
Aptitude and communications skills related to acting independently as a senior logistics/scheduling professional

Job Responsibility

Develop, detail, expand and maintain project schedules for one or more assigned Major Projects
Adhere to enterprise scheduling standards for development and implementation of schedules

Assist with interpreting performance of scheduled activities and communicating issues to the Project Manager
Develop and manage schedule performance indicators
Provide technical advice related to scheduling/planning/logistics
Represent the department by providing advice and coordination of internal projects and associated external activities

Job Responsibility

Provide clear instructions to E & I Technicians regarding job allocation, job details, work methods timeframes and allow for adequate feedback
Regularly liaising with Production Supervisors detailing changing priorities and additional equipment that is to be repaired or modified
Distribute accurate written and verbal information to the Maintenance Planner(s) that ensures they are adequately informed of changes or requirements towards the maintenance plans and schedules
Regularly updating the Maintenance Superintendent on long and short-term issues
Provide a central contact point for direct reports
Ensure work performed by Electrical Trades supervised meets the requirements of the Electricity Act 1945, Electricity Regulations 1947, Electricity (Licensing) Regulations 1991, Mines Safety Inspection Act 1994 (MSIA) and the Mines Safety and Inspection Regulations 1995 (MSIR)
Manage the execution of maintenance plan via the daily allocation of resources to tasks
Supervise and provide technical support the execution of maintenance and commissioning activities across the mine infrastructure, including the fixed processing plant, mine equipment and the mine accommodation camp
Fault find control circuits, loop checks, mechanical checks on electrical equipment failure identify and resolving problems, and assessing the potential impact on production, plant and equipment
Manage the effect of unplanned work against the weekly schedule to ensure that tasks planned are completed within that week and not postponed
