As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for reviewing the work activity of the Maintenance Team. This position prepares efficient work plans for all Preventive, Predicative, Condition-Based, and Project/Backlog Maintenance work. This position will also ensure internal and external labor resources are available and coordinate work in conjunction with the Production Scheduler in a timely manner. The Maintenance Planner also supports the Line mechanics and Technicians by providing expert guidance and maintains an open flow of communication up and down the maintenance team.
Job Responsibility:
Work with the Technical Stores Team to ensure parts are available and ready
Coordinate execution of the plan in conjunction with the production schedule through working with the Production Scheduler in a timely manner
Access, understand, and base decisions on information of all types in the CMMS system
Support the Line Mechanics and Technicians by providing expert guidance and maintain open flow of communication up and down the maintenance chain
Initiate focused projects based on Maintenance trends, and participating in process improvement initiatives
Requirements:
HS Diploma or GED Equivalent
2+ years of maintenance planning or scheduling experience in a manufacturing, production, industrial, military, or related environment
