The location in Nekoosa, (Wisconsin, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Planner, Maintenance. This job is full-time permanent.
Job Responsibility:
Provide detailed planning of work orders including task planning, parts and materials requirements, precision maintenance requirements, safety precautions, special tools/equipment and estimated times to complete tasks
Actively participate in the weekly scheduling of work orders
Maintain information from completed work orders to analyze results
Work with others, as needed, to manage the Mill’s Forelog and Backlog to fit within the guidelines of the One Domtar Planning and Scheduling standard
Create stock issue requests (SIRs) and/or requisitions as needed
Participate in shutdown meetings as they are scheduled
Control spending by maintaining a checkbook of the spending against budget and supply budgeted numbers against planned spending each week during the scheduling meeting
Support maintenance process including the creation of new preventative maintenance plans in SAP
Create and maintain functional locations and equipment and bill of materials in SAP
Administer requisitions and service entries in SAP
Provide weekend coverage of all mill maintenance operations as scheduled
Requirements:
3 – 5 years maintenance journeyperson experience OR B.S. in engineering
Associate degree in maintenance related field
Equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of industrial equipment and components such as pumps, motors, bearings, refrigeration systems, compressors, piping systems, etc.
Strong computer skills
Both SAP and Microsoft applications
Strong administrative and organizational skills
Excellent leadership, management, problem solving, decision making and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills - Both written and verbal
