Job Description:

The Planning Coordinator is responsible to manage the Planning and Purchasing department activities, to procure and administrate resources and also to identify opportunity areas in order to develop initiatives to improve Customer Service. The system used to support these activities is SAP.

Job Responsibility:

  • Review the demand and installed capacity to assurance to cover the orders on time
  • Along with the Production Coordinator the workload and available lines are reviewed to create an efficient production plan
  • Establish priorities
  • Analyzes and makes reports on production results and critical indicators
  • Develop production plans and programs
  • Work to keep and/or increase the Planning and Purchasing metrics results
  • Check monthly results report
  • Coordinates and attends meetings
  • Train staff in planning area
  • This position will have responsibility of planners in the department

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related area
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Planning area within a manufacturing environment
  • 2 years’ experience in supervisor/management areas
  • Proficient in English language (written and spoken)
  • Experience with SAP, Microsoft Office
