Job Responsibility

Directly supports the procurement and disposition of raw materials in response to MRP and Manufacturing requirements
Obtain materials in economic order quantities that improve value and minimize total cost (e.g. optimized inventory levels)
Assist in the annual standard costing process and provide price forecasts
Supports the Procurement Function in the standard costing program to ensure a positive PPV for the plant year over year
Supports materials management systems, plant projects and sustaining of contract terms and conditions with suppliers
Establish and maintain effective communication with all levels within Baxter
ensure that procurement processes meet the requirements of Baxter and suppliers
Monitor and disposition obsolete parts and supplier returns for rejected products and help resolve supplier's quality issues
