Job Responsibility

  • Support attorneys through all phases of plaintiff-side litigation
  • Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery, and correspondence
  • Manage case files, calendaring, and deadlines
  • Coordinate medical records, billing, and client communication
  • Assist with settlement packages and demands
  • Provide trial preparation support, including exhibits and binders
  • File documents in state and federal courts

Requirements

  • 3+ years of plaintiff litigation experience
  • Strong understanding of litigation procedures and deadlines
  • Experience with pre-litigation and litigation workflows
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in civil litigation
  • Proficiency in managing discovery processes and responding to discovery requests
  • Familiarity with state court filing procedures and litigation deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of personal injury and workers' compensation law
  • Paralegal certification is preferred
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish is highly desirable
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a small office environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
