Job Description:

University of the Arts London is looking for a Placements Officer to join our Graduate Futures team. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused administrator with strong relationship-building skills to play a key role in securing industry placements for students at one of the world’s leading arts universities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Secure industry placements for students
  • Engage with existing industry contacts to create student work opportunities for long and short-term accredited placements
  • Provide CV guidance sessions and practical support for students preparing for placements
  • Provide essential administrative support for placement activity
  • Build and nurture relationships across the University and with external organisations
  • Strengthen cooperation and collaboration within the Graduate Futures team

Requirements:

  • Educated to A level standard or have equivalent relevant experience
  • Strong client relationship-building skills
  • Proven administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective team player
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively

Nice to have:

Previous experience of careers coaching or providing advice and guidance
