Job Responsibility

Responsible for providing quality assessment, therapeutic interventions, and clinical expertise to the neonatal, pediatric, and adult population in the transport environment
In conjunction with the Transport Respiratory Therapist, acts as a resource hospital wide for patent care standards and pre-code recognition
Patient care is provided in accordance with established policies and procedures, medical protocols, and/or direct online consultation with the appropriate medical control physician within the transport environment (ambulance, helicopter, fixed wing)
Functions as a team leader when a physician is not present on the transport
