Placement Analyst

• Structuring/executing hybrid capital transactions and preparing/reviewing transaction documentation and marketing materials
• understand credit rating methodologies of the three major credit rating agencies (S&P, Moody’s, Fitch), and apply it to provide views on a company’s credit rating, structure hybrid capital and assist issuers in the management of the hybrid capital layer
• understand regulatory capital requirements of Banks and Insurers and provide an analytical framework to optimise bank capital resources
• collect and analyze company information, conduct industry research, perform benchmarking with peer groups.

• You are in your penultimate/final year of university or have recently graduated
• expected to achieve or have achieved a 2:1 (or equivalent) at undergraduate level in any degree discipline
• you have a keen interest in corporate finance
• you are comfortable working with numbers / large amount of data
• you are fluent in a 2nd language (this is desirable but not essential)
