Job Description:

Citi Banking is seeking highly motivated Placement Analysts to join its Investment Banking team in Amsterdam for an immersive experience of up to 6 months commencing in January 2026. The Investment Banking group advises corporate clients, assists them in raising capital within financial markets and provides strategic support for complex financial transactions including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, financial restructurings, and underwriting and distribution of equity, debt, and derivative securities.

Job Responsibility:

Collect and thoroughly analyze company information to support transaction execution
Conduct in-depth industry research and meticulously organize financial data
Perform detailed financial data analysis and develop sophisticated financial models
Create and finalize compelling new business development presentations
Coordinate tasks and workflow with internal teams and external working groups
Prepare all necessary internal documentation including adherence to control and compliance regulations

Requirements:

Currently in final year of university studies or a recent graduate
Strong demonstrable interest in business and the financial industry
Record of strong academic achievement
Fluency in both English and Dutch essential
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages
Fervent desire to cultivate deep understanding of the financial industry
Exhibit intellectual curiosity and proactive approach
Strong communication skills with excellent planning and organizational abilities
Commitment to personal growth and career development
Strong desire to learn and proactive disposition
