Job Description:

Citi is looking for an intern to join the Corporate Banking team in Milan to start January 2026 or February 2026 for 6 months. Corporate Bankers focus on client dialogue around capital structure, liability management, funding strategies, risk management, and investment solutions. The role offers exposure to a wide range of financial issues and responsibilities.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct accounting and financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, and capital markets analysis
Complete fundamental risk and credit analysis
Liaise with product partners
Assist in the presentation and development of new ideas to clients
Participate to live deals structuring

Requirements:

You are available to start from January 2026 or February 2026
You have a strong academics
You are currently enrolled in a University that can provide an internship agreement
Fluent in Italian and English
Solid analytical / quantitative skills, balance sheet knowledge, and high attention to details
Excellent communication / interpersonal skills and strong commitment
Genuine interest in the corporate finance business and curiosity to learn more
