Job Description

Citi is looking for a Placement Analyst to join the Corporate Banking team in Madrid for a six-month period starting February 2026. The role involves gaining knowledge of financial statement analysis, conducting risk credit analysis, liaising with partners, presenting ideas to clients, and structuring deals.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct accounting and financial statement analysis, cash flow modelling, and capital markets analysis
  • Complete fundamental risk and credit analysis
  • Liaise with product partners
  • Assist in the presentation and development of new ideas to clients
  • Structure deals

Requirements

  • You are in your penultimate/final year of university and pursuing a degree in any discipline
  • Expected to achieve or have achieved a 2:1 (or equivalent) at undergraduate level in a degree discipline
  • Grade 7 above (If graduated from Spanish University)
  • You are fluent in English and Spanish

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of the global or domestic business landscape
  • Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
  • Desire to develop a deep understanding of the financial industry
