Citi is looking for Intern Analysts to join the Financial Institutions Group (“FIG”) Corporate Banking team in Paris, France in July 2026. FIG Corporate Bankers are relationship-focused finance professionals responsible for understanding the wide range of complex financial issues facing our clients around the world. They drive the client dialogue on cash management, capital structure, liability management, liquidity and funding strategies, risk management, and investment solutions. The FIG client portfolio includes large banks, insurers, traditional and alternative asset managers, and financial market infrastructures. Unique to Citi, FIG Corporate Bankers are also responsible for credit allocation as well as relationship management. They work in partnership with various Citi groups across the firm including Risk Management, Investment Banking, and the Capital Markets Origination.
Job Responsibility:
Credit Analysis: Financial and operational analysis, including historical and projected performance of the clients
Preparation of materials for Risk and Business approval committees: credit memos for annual reviews and episodic transactions
Bank’s credit exposure and capital management: Gather data through various Citi’s systems to monitor bank’s exposure and profitability
Assistance in client relationship development and business origination: Research and presentation of potential relationship development
Development of the banking relationship across Citi geographical network
Support Bankers on ad hoc pitches (acquisition financing, capital market transactions…)
Requirements:
Available to start on July 2026
Currently enrolled in a University that can provide an internship agreement
Student status and related visa covering the whole internship period
Very good knowledge of Corporate Finance and Financial Markets
Fluent in English both written and oral (working language)
Good level in French is recommended
Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel and Work
