Job Description:

About the role: Implementing and customizing core insurance systems, creating and optimizing PL/SQL code, working with business analysts, participating in solution design, supporting testing and deployment, ensuring code quality, and being part of an agile team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Implementing and customizing core insurance systems such as TIA, INSIS and others, depending on the project
  • Create, modify, and optimize procedures, functions, packages, and triggers in the Oracle database using PL/SQL
  • Work with business analysts and other developers to build efficient and stable solutions
  • Participate in the analysis of requirements and the design of new solutions
  • Support testing and software deployment processes
  • Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
  • Be an active member of an agile project team (Scrum/Kanban)

Requirements:

  • At least two years of commercial experience with PL/SQL
  • At least a year of commercial experience with Java
  • Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
  • Fluency in English (B2/C1 level at least)
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team
  • Availability to work full-time
  • Ability to work in the European Union

Nice to have:

  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Git/SVN
  • Experience or certification in TIA, Insis or Data areas
  • Knowledge of basic concepts related to data warehouses (DW) and ETL processes
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly in a supportive yet challenging environment
  • Eagerness to learn about new technologies and solutions
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
