The Pizza Cook is responsible for supervising and overseeing the preparation of food items for guest orders ensuring consistent quality. This role requires a special talent and passion for ensuring the culinary team delivers the highest of culinary consistently, and ensuring that our food offering is at the center of our guest experience.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure our guests consistently receive the highest level of service excellence
Follow production, portion and presentation standards
Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment
Prepare and hand‑craft pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to luxury hotel standards
Execute gourmet pizzas with attention to detail, balance, and premium presentation
Operate wood‑fired, stone, or specialty pizza ovens with expert timing and temperature control
Taste, test, and adjust recipes to ensure consistent flavor and quality
Create specialty or seasonal pizzas that showcase creativity and quality
Assist in setting up plans and actions to control food waste
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Pizza Maker, preferably in luxury hotels, fine dining, or upscale restaurants
Strong knowledge of artisanal dough preparation, fermentation methods, and oven operation
Ability to handle premium ingredients with care and precision
Excellent time management and the ability to perform under pressure
Strong understanding of culinary hygiene and food safety standards
A passion for high-end cuisine and a guest-first mindset
