Job Description:

To provide support in all areas of the Technical Services team with a focus on in-field services such as blast-hole sampling, ore markups and ore spotting. Additional responsibilities supporting the validation of grade block data accuracy and material movements of ore throughout the supply chain from our Central Pilbara operations. Role is offered on 8 days on 6 days off roster.

Job Responsibility:

  • Accurate data analysis for feedback and site data integrity
  • Blast Hole Sampling, Crusher Sampling and dispatch to on-site laboratory
  • QAQC review of Laboratory assay results and data
  • Ore spotting and dig-face inspections to maintain ore hygiene
  • Stockpile inspections, reconciliations and balance
  • Data entry and validation of material truck movements
  • Managing consumables
  • Communicate and escalate any variance or deviation to plan to key stakeholders
  • Other duties as directed

Requirements:

  • Manual C class Australian Driving License
  • Demonstrate safe behaviour at all times
  • Confident computer skills with Microsoft Office programs, in particular Excel and Word, and a willingness to increase your computer skills where required
  • Good organisational skills and ability to self-manage workload
  • Ability to work in both a team environment, as well as confidence in working independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills when dealing with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven ability of manual handling tasks
  • Willingness to work in Pilbara conditions

Nice to have:

  • Previous exposure to a mining environment beneficial, but not essential
  • General interest in geology desirable
