Job Description:

In this role you will have the opportunity to ensure safe material handling duties. Our fast-paced work environment requires that our forklift and other powered industrial trucks are operated in a safe and efficient manner. You will play a key role in ensuring we meet daily production demands while also complying with our expectations for safe PIT operation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Safely operate powered industrial truck - always putting associate safety above production output
  • Move product utilizing various types of powered industrial trucks, including sit down, and stand up
  • Utilize Handheld scanner and E-21 or Great Plains to accurately place and retrieve needed materials in a timely manner
  • Responsible for daily PIT Inspections

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate/HSE or equivalent manufacturing experience
  • Ability to obtain Fork Lift Certification
  • Previous experience operating a powered industrial truck in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to run respective inventory system (Great Plains, E21, MES etc.)
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to complete daily Pre-Use Inspection Sheets
