Job Description

We're seeking a strong mechanical foreman who is willing to permanently relocate to our growing west coast Florida market. As Power Design expands into mechanical work, we are looking for a Pipefitter Foreman to play a critical leadership role in the success of our new projects. This means we’ll need someone to ensure all projects maintain a high level of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibility

  • Work closely with project Superintendent and other trades, oversee the assigned scope, including the management of material and manpower
  • Accountable for enforcing and promoting high quality and safety standards
  • Utilize technology such as company-provided iPad and smartphone to ensure the job gets done on time and exceeds customer expectations
  • Supervise, mentor, and motivate employees working on designated scope

Requirements

  • OSHA 30 certification preferred
  • Experience with Hydronic piping systems, Chiller, Boiler, Water Source Heat Pump refrigeration systems
  • Progressive Mechanical, HVAC, or Plumbing leaders who love using technology and want a clear career path
  • Skilled field supervisor with at least five years of experience managing a scope and running multimillion-dollar projects
  • Active journeyman or master Mechanical or Plumbing license preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of the IMC, IPC, and IBC Standards
  • local codes
  • and construction safety requirements
  • Knowledge in Managing Plumbing Systems and / or HVAC Air distribution systems a plus
  • Familiarity with project management and construction technology applications such as Bluebeam, ProCore, BIM 360, CrewConnect, FieldWire, and/or Open Space preferred
  • Flexibility to travel to other Power Design project sites as needed within the state of Florida preferred

Nice to have

  • OSHA 30 certification preferred
  • Knowledge in Managing Plumbing Systems and / or HVAC Air distribution systems a plus
  • Familiarity with project management and construction technology applications such as Bluebeam, ProCore, BIM 360, CrewConnect, FieldWire, and/or Open Space preferred
  • Flexibility to travel to other Power Design project sites as needed within the state of Florida preferred
