We are looking for a Piping Engineer for one of our clients.
Job Responsibility:
To be the referent for the piping and layout disciplines of the CPF-2, contribute as a key technical referent for piping within CPF-2
Contribute to ensuring the compliance of the CPF-2 EPSCC contract piping detailed engineering activities with approved SOR and Company standards
Liaise with company headquarters for assistance and deviation resolution under the guidance of the PVV Lead, as required
Participate in the Procurement technical preparation and assist the Procurement discipline during all the procurement phases
Attend the FAT and SAT within piping discipline, and contribute to ensuring a clear handover dossier is provided to the site supervision team
Provide technical advice and support to construction supervision regarding CPF-2 piping
Comply with HSE requirements and support and enforce the HSE Project objectives and directives
Participate to tender assessments, clarifications with bidder and other activities as related to the discipline
Continuously be involved in identification and technical discussions on project interfaces related to CPF piping
Perform quality review of detailed engineering documentation related to CPF piping, verifying that comments are returned without delay and with the required quality
Review and propose responses to technical queries and deviation requests related to CPF piping for PVV Lead and project management approval. Support exchanges with HQ experts for derogation requests related to CPF piping
Ensure implementation of Pre-Project requirements frozen per SOR and key binding documents related to CPF piping
Actively expedite Contractors to issue deliverables with the right quality level and as per the approved MDRs. Assess on a regular basis the progress of Contractors' deliverables by reviewing the MDRs
Contribute to HQ Project Review preparation and provide input for responses as applicable to CPF piping and layout disciplines
Review and comment vendor documents that have been assigned and assist project engineers in technical problem solving at all stages of work. Attend vendor meetings as required
Attend weekly coordination meetings with the CONTRACTOR(s) for the piping discipline
Report his/her weekly activities performed and attend coordination meetings
Requirements:
10-15 years in Oil and Gas projects as piping Lead/Sr piping engineer, Lead/Sr engineer
Previous experience with international Engineering EPC Contractors on projects of similar scale
Knowledge of international codes and standards related to his/her disciplines
Knowledge of company standards related to his/her disciplines
Advanced user of CAESAR II (for model review, independent checks, and detailed report analysis)
Familiarity with FEA software (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus) for reviewing specialist reports
Proficiency in 3D model review tools (e.g., Navisworks Manage) for clash detection, constructability, and support placement assessment from a perspective
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (material/metallurgical, mechanical engineering or related field)
