Job Description:

Develop and coordinate the offshore pipeline chemical inventory and vendor supply network, including all logistical requirements across offshore assets, to ensure reliable and sustainable production through the entire offshore pipeline delivery and support systems.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and coordinate the offshore pipeline chemical inventory and vendor supply network, including all logistical requirements across offshore assets, to ensure reliable and sustainable production through the entire offshore pipeline delivery and support systems
  • Establish and maintain the pipeline chemicals supply chain network, including tendering, contract management, QA/QC, and delivery logistics
  • Ensure corrosion inhibitor contracts are in place and maintain sufficient inventory for both “Wet & Dry” offshore export pipeline systems
  • Secure MEG supply contracts and ensure adequate volumes for offshore assets, including major project expansions, to meet flow assurance requirements during winter hydrate seasons
  • Coordinate MEG requirements with Flow Assurance Project (FAP) members and maintain close collaboration to meet expectations
  • Manage supporting contracts such as MEG Road Tankers, 3rd Party Surveyor, and Chemical Storage to maintain an optimal supply chain network
  • Maintain contingency MEG external storage contracts for surplus volumes at season end
  • Support flow assurance and corrosion engineering in chemical qualification processes
  • Oversee chemical purchase, QA/QC, unloading operations from MEG tankers to onshore storage, and historical data management
  • Prepare annual chemical budget estimates and ensure invoice management aligns with company procedures
  • Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality standards, as well as anti-trust and firewall policies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years in the Oil & Gas industry, with at least 5 years in offshore facilities
  • Strong knowledge of chemical logistics management
  • Comprehensive understanding of pipeline operations, including pigging and flow assurance
  • Ability to review and produce technical procedures
  • Awareness of business supply contracts
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken)
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office & CMMS)
