Job Responsibility

  • The work takes place in superyacht – challenging and often confined spaces, requiring precision, flexibility, and a strong focus on safety and quality
  • You will work with a wide range of piping materials, including black steel and stainless steel, primarily thick-walled systems used in high-performance marine installations
  • The role involves accurate fitting, alignment, and installation to ensure systems meet strict technical and quality standards
  • You will collaborate closely with welders and other skilled trades on board, contributing to a well-coordinated construction process where teamwork and communication are essential to delivering complex projects successfully

Requirements

  • An education at mid-level, preferably in shipbuilding
  • Are you in possession of a valid VCA or VCA-Vol certificate
  • Must be able to communicate with the employee in Dutch or English
  • Demonstrable work experience as a Ship Metal Worker
  • Experience with reading drawings, measuring and marking
  • Experience with tack welding, grinding and burning
  • Experience working with piping systems (black steel and stainless steel)
  • Ability to read and work from isometrical drawings
  • Experience with thick-walled piping is an advantage
  • Comfortable working in confined and challenging spaces
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Attention to detail and high-quality workmanship

What we offer

  • Starting from 600 EUR net per week / 40h
  • Monthly vacation allowance of approximately 130 EUR
  • Health care contribution of approximately 120 EUR per month
  • Total of approximately 2840 EUR net for basic hours per month
  • Transportation allowance of 0.19 EUR/km for commuting with own vehicle
  • Accommodation provided
  • Attractive salary, paid weekly
  • Earnings range from €680 to €730 net per week, based on a 40-hour workweek, possible to work on a freelance contract
