Job Description:

A Pipe Layer is responsible for installing, aligning, and joining pipes for water, drainage, sewer, and other utility systems. This role involves preparing trenches, ensuring proper grading, and following technical specifications to guarantee safe and efficient installation. Pipe Layers work closely with other construction professionals to complete projects on time and in compliance with safety standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Install and align pipes for water, sewer, and drainage systems
  • Prepare trenches and ensure proper grading for pipe placement
  • Connect pipes using appropriate methods (e.g., sealing, welding, or mechanical joints)
  • Test pipe systems for leaks and compliance with regulations
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines on-site

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Pipe Layer or similar role
  • Knowledge of pipe materials, installation techniques, and safety standards
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in outdoor environments
