Job Description

As a Pilot, Captain in the Flight Operations department in the Toronto Pearson location, you will report to the Manager, Flight Operations. You will ensure that each Global aircraft meets the highest standards through flight testing, customer demonstrations, and ferry operations, while also supporting efficient flight operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct production ground and flight tests for the purpose of validating the airworthiness of the aircraft
  • Conduct demonstration flights to potential customers
  • Conduct Customer Acceptance flights
  • Conduct Ferry flights
  • Carry out pre and post flight activities
  • May be required to support the weekend schedule for extended periods
  • May be required to support the Bombardier Flight Test Center
  • May be required to carry out manual and other documentation review
  • Perform secondary duties to support the flight operations team

Requirements

  • Valid Canadian ATPL and a Class 1 medical
  • Minimum of 3,500 hours of total flight time with 500 hours PIC on large multi engine aircraft
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours and to travel on short notice
  • Right to work and live in Canada
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with a team
  • Ability to execute the duties of an aircraft commander while maintaining positive and cooperative relationship with crew and management
  • Ability to manage stressful situations
  • Working knowledge of MS Office

  • G7500 endorsement
  • US ATP
  • Previous flight test experience or strong technical background in certification or training
