Job Description

Pigs & Harvest Farmer position on a well-established family farm in Kalmar, Sweden. The role involves daily farm tasks, animal care, and equipment maintenance. The position is offered as Swedish Self-employment with a 14-day test period followed by a 6-month contract with possible prolongation.

Job Responsibility

  • Daily routine tasks such as cleaning the pig pens
  • spreading straw
  • marking pigs that may require medical treatment
  • ongoing (basic) maintenance of stable equipment
  • washing the barns using a high-pressure washer
  • various other farm-related duties as required

Requirements

  • Fair and communicative English
  • Driver’s license B
  • Experience with a tractor is a plus
  • Experience animals in particular pigs
  • Experience in repair of the feeding facilities and equipment is a plus
  • Positive to teamwork
  • Positive to physical work
  • Having good health conditions
